MR Alexander took Alton by storm on Saturday, bringing his own inimitable brand of live Victorian entertainment to delight the crowds who flocked to the Public Gardens for The Good Old Days.

Staged by the Lions Club of Alton, with the support of Jon Coleville of Treloar's Trust, the aim was to provide a taste of 'traditional, tantalising fun' from a time when all entertainment was live, while raising money in support of the students of Treloar's School and College.
