ANNE and Tim Butler, of Hartley Park Farm, have presented a cheque for £1,800 to Pat Barclay (left) and Penny Powell of The Rosemary Foundation in Petersfield.
It was the proceeds of last year’s popular lavender fields open days at the farm on the outskirts of Selborne.
The Rosemary Foundation is a charity which provides a hospice at home service in Petersfield and the surrounding towns and villages.
And the charity will again benefit from this year’s open days, which take place this weekend (July 2-3) and next weekend (July 9-10) at Hartley Park Farm on the B3006 between Alton and Selborne.
The open days run from 10am-4pm and visitors can enjoy mini-tours of the lavender and wildflower fields, talks on lavender, tractor and trailer rides, tours of new grain store and biomass boiler plant, aromatherapy sessions (pre-book at petersfieldmassage.co.uk), and photographic workshops with Tina Bolton (to book, call 07976 302937).
The open days will also feature Jenkyn Place Vineyard selling English sparkling wine, beekeepers, craft stalls and refreshments.
Entry is £4, with under-12s getting in free. Dogs are not allowed, according to organisers, and donations will go to Cardiac Risk in the Young and The Rosemary Foundation.
