THE Rotary Clubs of Godalming and Godalming Woolsack came together to hold a sponsored ‘cyclathon’ in aid of two vital charities - Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care and Air Ambulance.

The cyclathon was held at Godalming Fitness in Godalming High Street, and saw 18 teams and a total of 67 riders take part, raising £3,670 to be split equally between the two charities.

“We would like to thank everyone at the Rotary Club of Godalming and the Rotary Club of Godalming Woolsack,” said Leanne Magee, community fundraiser at Phyllis Tuckwell.

“It was a brilliantly well-organised event and everyone involved took part with such inspiring enthusiasm and energy.

“Our thanks also go to the sponsors: Downs Solicitors, Surrey & Hampshire Property Agents, Vantage Point magazine and particularly to Godalming Fitness Gym, who so generously hosted the event.”
