A LANE of the A31 Hogs Back leading on to the A331 Blackwater Valley is set to be closed in both directions for five days starting this Monday (October 30) for barrier repairs.
Works are scheduled to begin on the A31 just west of the A331 junction, creeping up the A331 until reaching the A323/Aldershot Road junction on Friday, November 3.
A spokesman for Surrey County Council, which is responsible for the works, said: “One lane is planned to be closed closed each way between 9.30am and 3.30pm to replace a crash barrier.”
Elsewhere, the Farnham sation level crossing will close to traffic in the early hours of this Sunday for a routine inspection by Network Rail.
Station Hill will be blocked between 1am and 7am on October 29, with traffic to be diverted via Wrecclesham, Echo Barn Lane and Great Austins.
Temporary traffic lights are also scheduled opposite the Farnham Retail Park in Guildford Road from next Tuesday (October 31) to Thursday (November 2) with South East Water set to plug off a faulty water supply.
