FRENSHAM Royal British Legion possessed a piece of overgrown ground beside the car park at the front of the club, which had not really been touched for several decades.

After much thought and discussion by chairman James Stevens and the committee, it was decided to construct a memorial rose bed. Members were invited to purchase and dedicate a rose for a member of their family who had passed away.

This proved extremely popular and there are now over 30 roses in the bed, in yellow, white, pink, red, blue, cream and orange.
