PEOPLE are invited to Bordon’s Phoenix Theatre and Arts Centre this weekend to celebrate the official 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.

The birthday picnic, which will run from 11.30am to 4pm on Sunday, is a free event put on by The Phoenix, on Station Road, in association with the Whitehill and Bordon Town Partnership.

In addition to royal games and a royal bouncy castle or two, there will be a barbecue and a mini beer festival.

Also the celebrations from around the country, including the street party in The Mall, for up to 10,000 guests, will be screened live at the theatre.
