RAZOR wire fencing and CCTV are being considered by Farnham Rugby Club after a renewed spate of vandalism at the site.
Damage put at £600 was caused there on Sunday night, including the breaking of aerials and guttering, and damage to the boiler which powers the club's showers.
At a meeting of the club committee following the incident, calls for heightened security measures were made by its members.
CCTV, barbed fencing and gaurd-dogs were all suggested to combat the situation.
Disgusted club secretary Derek Wall said: "We are very annoyed by this. We had a great weekend of rugby, and left the building on Sunday at 8-15pm.
Neighbours then rang us the next dat to say we had been vandalised.
The vandals had got on the roof and thrown our aerials to the ground, and also tore the guttering down."
He said players had been unable to take a shower, and added that this was not the first time they had been affected by vandalism.
"We have had dumping cars here, people breaking the wooden pitch markers, and last year incidents of cars being driven on to the pitch.
"There has also been some graffiti here in the past as well," he said.
Showers at the venue have now been fixed, much to the relief of the players.
p GOLF clubs valued at more-than £1,000, and two mountain bikes worth £750 each were stolen from a shed in Gong Hill Drive.
The two bikes stolen were 'Marin' and 'Trek' brands, and if anyone has any information regarding this incident, please contact Farnham Police on (01252) 716262.
