FARNHAM Rugby Club has made an impassioned plea to its supporters to assist with their proposed move to Weybourne's Monkton Lane. In partnership with Stax Leisure, plans for a multi-use sports facility have been submitted for the relocation to the 22-acre site within the strategic gap between Aldershot and Farnham. Club president Geoff Robins said: "The application is now in and we are very excited by it. "It's taken a long time getting back to the planning arena, but we hope that the support we received from the council with our previous application will be repeated this time. "I would urge members to support the move and comment on the website. As a club we are trying to improve sporting provision for the whole community in Farnham."
