HASLEMERE Junior Rugby Club has launched the Wheelchair Friendship Tour for 2002, possibly the most ambitious and unique project undertaken by a British junior sports club.

The planned tour would see youth and disabled rugby taken around the world in July 2002 with both the junior and wheelchair squads playing fixtures in five continents: at Woolmer Hill for Europe, Chicago in America, Singapore, Sydney in Australia and Cape Town in South Africa.
