MORE than a thousand people took part in Phyllis Tuckwell’s Dash of Colour on Saturday, September 1, at Frimley Lodge Park.

Wearing white t-shirts, participants ran, jogged or walked the 5km circuit of this sponsored fun run, and at each of the six paint stations along the way were showered with multi-coloured, and gold and silver shimmery powder paint.

Phyllis Tuckwell has held its Dash of Colour event for five years now.

Participants and supporters of all ages gathered in this beautiful setting, enjoying the uplifting atmosphere and the warm sun, to raise money to support this vital charity which cares for local patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer.

“We would like to thank our headline sponsors, Cane Adam and Morrison’s Solicitors, our colour station sponsors, Branston Adams, Projectfive and SC Johnson, and everyone who came along to make this year’s Dash of Colour such a success,” said Gemma Craig, events fundraising manager at Phyllis Tuckwell, based in Farnham.

“It’s too early to know how much we’ve raised, but so far we have over £25,000 and this total is still rising as more sponsorship money comes in.”
