KELLY’S Cross Country Challenge is set to return on October 14 at Loseley Park, with the involvement of Farnham-based celebrity runner Susie Chan.
Money raised will be donated to Challengers, a local charity which supports disabled children and young people through exciting play and leisure opportunities.
Susie, an endurance runner, enjoyed doing a recce of this year’s route, having previously run races from one to 100 miles and taken part in some of the toughest ultra-marathons, endurance races and the World Marathon Majors, as well as shorter distance events.
She said: “I think what Kelly’s Storage Charity Events do is a fantastic initiative. It is so worthwhile running when you know that absolutely every penny you have donated or raised will go straight to the wonderful Challengers, who do such amazing work in the area.”
New features for this year include a King & Queen of the Hill award. To enter the event or to find out more, go to tinyurl.com/ycel69hs.
