PLANS to extend the Sainsbury's Water Lane store will not affect trade in Farnham's town centre, borough councillors were told this week.
Waverley's western area planning sub-committee deferred the planning application to extend the store by a third last month and expressed concerns that retailers in Farnham could suffer if Sainsbury's sold goods other than food products.
