A DRINK-driver from Bordon spun his car 180 degrees in front of an ensuing police car, a court heard last week.

Callum Stewart said he didn't intend to drive after having two-and-a-half pints of lager in a Petersfield bar on December 13 last year.

But he offered to drive when his friend developed a migraine - and immediately grabbed the police's attention after speeding out of a car park while en route to Liss.

The 22-year-old salesman, of Liphook Road, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol before Aldershot magistrates last Thursday.
