Controversial plans to extend the extraction area of the Rabbitfield Hill sand pit at Picketts Hill, Headley, have been given the go-ahead by Hampshire County Council.
The application was approved by the county's roads and development sub-committee on Monday despite the concerns of local residents of the environmental impact.
