EXCITED youngsters welcomed a surprise visit by Father Christmas at Holybourne Village Pre-school’s Christmas party.

Many of the children dressed up for the occasion, either in their best Christmas jumper or sparkly dress, with a few little elves and even a dinosaur.

They made reindeer food and decorated a Christmas biscuit in between playing ‘musical snowmen’ and ‘Santa says’, and later sang a Christmas song to their parents and carers.

A fundraising raffle rounded of the festivities and netted £393 for new equipment thanks to the generosity of local businesses and attractions.
