SANTA will make his grand arrival in a horse and carriage at Squire’s Garden Centre in Badshot Lea this Saturday (November 26), kicking off a busy month of festivities at the garden centre.

All are welcome to pop along to Squire’s in Badshot Lea Road at 10am to say ‘hello’ and have their picture taken with Santa, as well as meet his real reindeer.

For all those who cannot make November 26, the event will be repeated at 10am on the following Saturday, December 3. Santa’s reindeer will also appear at the garden centre on the following dates:

• Saturday, November 26 - 9am to 2pm.

• Sunday, November 27 - 10.30am to 3.30pm.

• Saturday, December 3 - 9am to 2pm.

• Sunday, December 4 - 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Squire’s Badshot Lea is also offering a twist on the traditional grotto this festive period, with a Christmas Circus taking place between this Saturday, November 26, and Christmas Eve.

The show, lasting around 60 minutes, promises clowns, juggling, diabolo, aerial acrobatics and the chance to meet Santa after the show. Tickets cost £12 per person and if children have been good, they will also receive a wrapped present.

In addition, Squire’s Badshot Lea will host a Christmas shopping evening from 5pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday, November 30.

This offers the chance to explore Squire’s range of Christmas gifts and decorations, and enjoy complimentary mulled wine and a mince pie, food and wine tastings, live music from Farnham Brass Band, a magician, and watch a Christmas canapé demonstration.

There will also be a ‘Decorate A Frosted Christmas Wreath or Candle Centre Piece’ workshop, which is being held at 10am and 6pm on November 30 lasting around 45 minutes.

Tickets cost £25, which includes all tuition, equipment and materials to make a decorated wreath or candle centre piece to take home, plus a complimentary tea or filter coffee and a mince pie.
