A NUMBER of Perins School children narrowly escaped injury on Monday afternoon when the bus they were travelling in was involved in a collision with a car on the A31 at Ropley.
The incident was reported to the police at 3.44pm and involved a Volkswagen Golf and a coach, carrying children home in the direction of Four Marks.
It happened at The Dene, near to the junction of Station Hill with the A31.
Perins School deputy head Mark Nevola, told the Herald: “The school has been in close liaison with the bus company over this incident, and we are clear that their driver and management team did everything possible during and following the accident to support Perins students.
