PLANS to turn back the clock at a village school near Petersfield have been given the green light by parents.

Hampshire County County has begun a second consultation into the prospect of reverting Froxfield Infant School into a primary.

Staff and governors believe the change will be fairer to year three children by allowing them to see out their primary years in one school.

The move could also secure the long-term future of the school as its number of pupils could more than treble.
