Parents of the 15 pupils in their final year at Alton's Mayfield School are looking for an alternative venue to keep the children in the class together for their last term of primary education.
It was announced last week that the school will close on April 7 because declining numbers on its roll has made it financially unviable. Places have been offered to the other pupils at a nearby private school.
