A YEAR'S worth of stamps have been collected by children and their families at Shottermill Infant School in aid of Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

They were handed over this week at the charity's shop in Wey Hill.

Headteacher Jilly Storey said: "It has taken them a year but the collections box is now overflowing. The children have loved looking through the stamps, especially the ones from abroad.

"The box is now empty so we can start collection all over again!"

The Farnham-based hospice provides care for cancer sufferers in south-west Surrey and north-east Hampshire.
