CHILDREN at St Peter's Primary School in Wrecclesham had great fun during this year's book week.

They wrote stories of their own after taking part in exciting workshops delivered by children's author Lou Kuenzler.

And the pupils also enjoyed story time each day while dressing up as their favourite book characters.

The children were also able to buy books from a visiting book fair, raising £900 for the school.

Literacy co-ordinator Vanda Bolton said: "We have had a great week enhancing our learning with our author workshops, drama and art. Who knew that learning could be such fun?"
