CRONDALL Primary School has scooped a gold award at the prestigious Food for Life Partnership Regional Awards held in London.

In winning the award, which recognises schools' good food culture, Crondall has become the only primary school in the south of England to have achieved gold standard.

Megan Robinson, head at Crondall Primary School, said: "I am so proud of this award. It has been an amazing and exciting journey and has involved the children, parents, staff, governors and the community in a positive way.
