THERE was fun for all the family as Liphook infants and junior school hosted its annual May fair.

The event raised £4,600, which will go toward additional items to support children’s learning.

The entertainment included a display of karate and gymnastics as well as country dancing skills and a beautiful ballet display by the Liphook Academy of Dance.

Children enjoyed playing on bouncy castles, having their faces painted, a pottery smash, a myriad of stalls, a delicious barbecue and ice cream provided by Dylan’s.

Executive headteacher Michele Frost said: “This has been a really fabulous May Fair, the weather has helped to make it a fantastic family afternoon.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in making the day possible, especially the Parent Teacher Association members from both schools.”
