BLOOMING marvellous was the verdict on Potters Gate's entry in Farnham Carnival on Saturday.

The primary school, which has scooped the Best in Show Shield several times in the past, claimed the top honour with its legion of flower people (pictured).

The carnival's theme, Farnham's Got Talent, attracted more than 50 entries, and ideal weather ensured a bumper turnout of spectators too.
