FIVE schools in Bordon will be among the first to benefit from the Government's quick-win eco-town payout, sharing part of £1.3m allocated to improve education in the town.

To make them more energy efficient and reduce their carbon footprints, the five schools will be given grants from the £10.69m Government fund to kick-start the eco-town process.
