THE fruits of Haslemere Hockey Club's schools programme, launched in November, were evident when scheme supporters saw the coaching programme in action at Shottermill Junior School last Thursday.

A reception was held to celebrate the programme.

The scheme brings sport to youngsters from all walks of the community, not just to those where sports facilities are good.
