THE headteacher of Weydon School has added his tribute to those paid to Andy Bridge, the 22-year-old Farnham man who was skippering the yacht Cheeki Rafiki when it sank in mid Atlantic last month. Former Weydon student Andy and the remainder of the four-man crew have not been found, although the yacht's upturned hull was discovered when US government bowed to public pressure and resumed a search. And John Winter said: "Andy's winning smile was infectious and lit up any room he entered. "Andy was not only popular within his tutor group, he made strong, lasting friendships across his year group. This was proved by the campaign to get the search resumed by the fellow tutees and year group. "His passion was always boats and although we are extremely saddened by his loss we are comforted by the fact he was pursuing his dreams. "Our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this difficult time."
