DIAMOND jubilee organisers are appealing for 6,000 scones and 500 jars of jam – for a huge cream tea in the Queen's honour.

Forming part of Haslemere's summer celebration to mark Her Majesty's 60 years on the throne, there will be a giant Coronation Cream Tea for 3,000 people on Lion Green, Weyhill – and the organisers are appealing for help with the baking.
