A DEDICATED fundraiser for SERV SSL emergency blood volunteer couriers to air ambulance services in Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex has made nearly £2,000 for the charity, thanks to support from Haslemere Hounds, Haslemere Comrades Club and Haslemere Thespians.

Karen Hatchell (pictured with Hounds mastermind Brian Howard and charity volunteer Hugh Terry) donated £1,250, thanks to the pre-Christmas Club raffle of Haslemere Hound ‘Scotty Dog Mitchell’, and a darts board signed by the former champion player.

The Haslemere Thespians committee member raised an additional £725 by standing with a bucket collection at the end of each performance of Puss in Boots.

SERV SSL is a non-profit charity with ten motor bikes, a car, a 4x4 and a van. Funds raised keep these vehicles on the road.
