The special stamps can be bought in advance from Gables Newsagents. There are seven different designs, which have been drawn by members of the group.
Liphook Scouts has been running a Christmas card delivery service since the 1980s – partly as a useful service for village residents, and partly to raise much-needed funds to help pay for the upkeep of the group’s headquarters and equipment.
Last year, the Scouts delivered more than 2,200 cards, raising more than £600 in the process.
The special posting boxes can be found in Gables Newsagents, Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Route 6 Hairdressers, Countrywide Stores, Hiscocks Pet Supplies, Passfield Store and The Deer’s Hut up until Saturday, December 19 – the last collection will be at noon on that date.
