SCREWFIX officially opened its first store in Farnham on Thursday in the Grovebell Retail Park.
The new branch, next to the Co-op supermarket in Wrecclesham Road, will create an additional 17 jobs and is part of the company’s ongoing expansion plans.
Screwfix’s new Farnham store manager, Tim Dent, is proud of the contribution the new store has made to employment figures in the area.
“We’ve created 17 brand new vacancies and have employed local people from around the Farnham area,” he said.
