IN the run up to the 10th anniversary of WWF’s Earth Hour in March next year, WWF and People’s Postcode Lottery have launched a nationwide search to find those unsung heroes who are making a real difference for our planet.

The Earth Hour Heroes initiative is searching for individuals who deserve recognition for going the extra mile to help the environment and inspire others - whether at home, in the community or in the workplace.

Three winners will receive £1,000 each, thanks to the support of players of People’s Postcode Lottery, to help towards boosting their Earth Hour Hero initiatives.
