THE Museum of Farnham will offer a tantalising peek into the Secrets of the Bridal Boudoir on Saturday, January 16, with a talk on the history of undergarments by costume collector Marion May.
Marion first started collecting costume in 1978 and her collection is vast and diverse, from underwear to formal wear, wedding dresses and party dresses. She has exhibited her costumes dozens of times and gives a wide range of talks on fashion history.
Her talk, ‘From Crinolines to Camiknickers’, will take place from 2.30pm to 3.30pm on Saturday, January 16. Tickets cost £5, available at the museum reception or by calling 01252 715094 in advance.
