ARCHITECTS Tavia and Richard Vint are celebrating winning Home of the Year and Best Contemporary Self-Build in the The Daily Telegraph Homebuilding and Renovating Awards 2019.

Better still, the building in Haslemere that wowed the judges is their family home.

Judge Darren Bray said: “What immediately strikes you about this house is the level of detail and the innovative use of space that has been achieved within a tight budget of £452,000.

Richard said: “We are very excited to win the awards. We love living here and we are also honoured that Vint and Smith Architecture + Design has been recognised. We carefully chose a muted palette of materials.”
