The fate of the Central Club was finally sealed this week when its committee reluctantly sent a letter to the Farnham Charity Institute notifying it of the venue's imminent closure.
The club, which has been a feature of the town's social scene for more than 50 years, will close its doors for the last time on Sunday, September 23.
