TOWN councillors this week raised "serious objections" to a proposed development of 100 new homes at land south east of The Causeway.

The plan, submitted to East Hampshire District Council's (EHDC) planners by developer Fairfield Estates, also includes allocation for 40 "affordable" homes and a children's play area.
