A performance of Macbeth in which one of the actors is completely drunk is visiting the Great Hall at Farnham Maltings on November 26 at 8pm.

Macbeth is one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays and arguably the greatest ever written. It’s a dramatic epic about greed, ambition and the heights and depths of the human condition.

Sh*t-faced Shakespeare takes the Bard’s work back to its raucous roots. The cast rotate their roles and before each show one actor has four hours to drink as much alcohol as possible. What could possibly go wrong?
