PUPILS at Andrew's Endowed School in Holybourne have made up 45 shoeboxes to send to Zimbabwe in southern Africa as part of the Samaritan's Purse scheme.
Headteacher Maria Lloyd said the children and their families were invited to make up gift boxes for disadvantaged children in three different age groups, from a list of suggested gifts ranging from sweets and scarves to toys and festive treats.
A Samaritan's Purse courier took them to the distribution warehouse in Guildford on Wednesday.
