THE One Stop convenience store in Bordon was damaged after a vehicle crashed into the wall at the back of the shop in the early hours of Boxing Day.

Neighbours were woken by the sound of “shutters being kicked in” and the store’s alarm sounding around 2am on December 26.

Police were reportedly quick to the scene in Ennerdale Road.

It was at first thought to be a ram raid but a spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary confirmed that, while they were investigating the incident as a burglary, nothing had been reported stolen. The cash machine at the front of the store also remained intact.
