PETERSFIELD'S long-awaited Shopmobility scheme for disabled people could be up and running by Christmas if it gets the go-ahead for extra funding next month.
A purpose-build unit in the town's central car park to house a combination of battery-powered scooters and powered and manual wheelchairs has been delayed by escalating costs.
