THOUSANDS of people converged on the town centre to browse festive stalls at Sunday's Haslemere Christmas Market.
Enchanting Christmas gifts and local food and beverages, also incorporating the monthly farmers' market, were available from Haslemere Hall, the town museum, The Georgian House Hotel and the pitches and marquees in both High Street and West Street.
Traders were exceptionally pleased with the large footfall of people in the town and reported brisk business.
Shop ownwers also enjoyed the opportunity to see new faces and promote their wares.
Melanie Odell and Iain Lynch, who organised the event on behalf of Haslemere Events, said they were very pleased with the turnout of stalls and public alike.
