IT was the shock of the round as League Two club Aldershot were knocked out of the FA Cup by Blue Square South minnows Dover Athletic at The Crabble on Saturday.

It was also a hark back to the bad old days when Aldershot FC were only too frequently sent packing by non-League opposition.
