A CHARITY fashion show at the Edinburgh Woollen Mill in Farnham has raised £261 for the Motor Neurone Association in memory of a “very dear” customer Brenda Warr who passed away several months ago from the disease.
The show took place at the 122 West Street store on Thursday, August 30, between 5pm and 7pm with tickets sold for £6 each.
The show was a celebration of Brenda’s life, and close friends Coral and Mandy attended.
Brenda’s husband provided Mandy with some words he wished to be read out at the event along with a few words of her own alongside them.
Mandy recounted a ‘mini fashion show’ that was hosted for Brenda at her home when was no longer able to visit the store, making her extremely happy.
She was always a big supporter of the store’s fashion shows, which have been happening for the past five years.
