AFTER a busy and fun-filled term, Showshack students were lucky enough to once again perform at the switching on of the Farnham Christmas lights, entertaining the community with some of the material they have been working on this term and getting everyone in the festive spirit.

With another jam-packed term to look forward to in January, Showshack will once again be holding the hugely popular Showshack’s Got Talent competition, with the final performance taking place on Friday, March 23.

In addition, Showshack’s Elite Theatre group are currently in rehearsals for their next production, the much-loved classic musical Grease, on Saturday, March 10.

Showshack dance and theatre school has been helping children of all ages build confidence, communication and social skills through performance for the last 23 years.

It holds group classes in dance and musical theatre as well as one to one and group LAMDA lessons in acting and musical theatre, and also teaches LAMDA drama and musical theatre classes at St Polycarp’s, Waverley Abbey and Weydon School.

LAMDA exams help develop creativity, clear expressive speech, performance skills and imaginative and confident expression, with the higher grades (grade six onwards) counting towards the students UCAS points.
