GET on board for an adrenaline-packed day out on the ocean waves as Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice has secured the use of 30 racing yachts for a day’s racing, out of Port Solent in Hampshire.

This corporate sailing regatta will take place on Wednesday, May 25, and each yacht can be branded with company colours, from flags, to banners, to boat graphics, enabling individuals to fly their company flag, literally.

Each of these 40ft yachts will have its own professional skipper and first mate, so no sailing experience is required, although they’ll be happy to take a back seat for the more experienced crews.

The day will start with a breakfast reception, after which the crews will board their yachts for the day’s racing.

A light lunch on board will ensure energy levels are kept topped up, and the day will end with a barbecue and networking opportunity in the club house back at Port Solent, where prizes will be presented by Tracy Edwards MBE.

The day has been organised by the experienced worldwide charter company Sunsail, which holds many corporate regattas every year. Those wishing to apply as an individual will be teamed up with other likeminded individuals on the day.
