DECORATED veterans, servicemen and women, families and a sea of youngsters joined to observe the traditional two-minute silence bathed in brilliant sunshine at the Gostrey Meadow war memorial on Sunday.
The crowd gathered on Remembrance Sunday increases year-on-year, spilling into South Street and packing the footbridge across the River Wey into the meadow.
The parade, too, seems to grow ever longer, with youngsters from the town's cadet forces and other youth organisations marching in their hundreds.
