Police investigating a public order incident in Odiham have arrested another man as part of their investigation.

Officers were called at around 3.15pm on October 8 to reports of a disturbance involving two groups of people at a site off the A287 Farnham Road near the Chalky Lane junction.

A man sustained an injury to his head from what police believe to be a strike with a crowbar, while a man at the scene was reportedly seen with a gun. Police believe all those involved knew each other.

Since the incident was reported to the police they have been carrying out extensive enquiries and have now arrested a total of six men.

A 26-year-old man from Wokingham was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of wounding with intent, violent disorder and a non-domestic burglary involving theft. He remains in custody and police enquiries are ongoing.

The development came after police made five other arrests throughout October.

On October 12, a 21-year-old man from Wokingham was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and violent disorder. He was conditionally bailed until January 12 while enquiries continue.

On October 11, a 25-year-old man from Odiham and a 33-year-old man from Reading were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. They were conditionally bailed until January 11 while enquiries continue.

On October 8, police arrested two Odiham men. A 40-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, theft of a motor vehicle, aggravated vehicle taking and affray. A 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, causing grievous bodily harm with intent and affray. They were conditionally bailed until January 8 while enquiries continue.
