HASLEMERE Town Council has refused to make a decision on plans for a skating area at the fairground car park in Wey Hill until further investigations have been made into using The Herons Leisure Centre as an alternative site.
Finance and general purposes committee chairman Adrian Law promised the town clerk would continue to pursue Waverley Borough Council's leisure department "with vigour" to arrange a meeting.
