Skateboard park could be in place by the summer

HASLEMERE'S long-awaited skate park could be built and ready for use by the summer as a decision on the location is expected to be made by Waverley at the end of the month.

A final report is being written following the three-week public consultation which took place in Haslemere last month. It asked residents for their preferred location for the skate park - at The Herons leisure centre or the fairground car park in Wey Hill.
