PETERSFIELD skateboarders are a step closer to realising their dream for a new skatepark for Love Lane playing fields with a £15,000 grant secured from East Hampshire District Council towards the project.
The award was made last Wednesday at an EHDC cabinet meeting after a presentation by two 15-year-old pupils Jamie Ashwell, from The Petersfield School, and George Podger, who is a pupil of Bohunt School, Liphook.
